With a master plan designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Renzo Piano, Milanosesto is the largest development project in Italy. Located in Sesto San Giovanni in the former Ex-Falck industrial area, this community includes over one million square meters of new and renovated spaces, and 7,500,000 square feet of green space. Just 5 miles from Milan’s city center, Milanosesto is one of Europe’s most dynamic new communities.

Architect Renzo Piano’s design will include two types of residential buildings – high-rises with up to 30 floors, and low-rises up to 11 floors – that will provide a total of 8,000 apartments. It will also be home to a multifunctional shopping center and over 1,000,000 square feet of retail, hospitality, and industrial spaces. The community will include schools and a new hospital and medical research center. Milanosesto will also be home to a world-class sports stadium, to be used recreationally by members of the community and for professional sporting events. The area will offer extensive green space, including 10,000 trees and 10 miles of pedestrian walkways.

Milanosesto is a destination in and of itself, but it also offers convenient access to Milan and other major European capitals. Situated within 45 minutes of three different airports, this community is just one or two hours by plane to cities like Paris, Rome, Berlin, London, and Madrid. It also offers easy subway access to Milan and a direct connection to Milan’s central train station. Though residents will find everything they need – schools, retail offerings, and recreational areas – within Milanosesto, they will also be inherently connected to the surrounding metropolitan area and to Europe as a whole.
